Name of Competition: Win a seat in a Boar Ready Program 2023

Promoter: XY on Boards Pty Ltd ACN 605 564 501 t/a Future Directors Institute

Entry Requirements: Participants must submit an entry form, completing all mandatory fields in the entry form. 

Eligible entrants: Must be an Australian or NZ residents. 

Competition Period: Opens 1 July 2023 and closed Sunday 30th July 2023. Competition may be extended at the discretion of the promoter. 

ENTRY METHOD

For the Competition Period: Participants must submit an entry form on the competition page, completing all mandatory fields in the entry form. Full Name; Email; Country; Status of AU or NZ residency; Why You? 200 words or less; Which program are you interested in.

The participant with the best answer to the question “Why You” in a judging process at the close of the competition period will be awarded a spot in one of two programs - the Board Ready Program or the Board Career Accelerator program. 

Entry Details

Maximum Number of Entries: 1 entry per person (identifiable by a unique email address)

Judging Criteria: The participant’s entry form will be individually judged for their suitability for the program and the quality of their answer to the question Why you? 

Submission of this entry form on the competition page will also sign up the entrant to receive newsletters and other promotional communications. This subscription can be managed at any time, however, we recommend not to unsubscribe until the competition period has ended. Existing subscribers will be unchanged. 

Prize Details: 

Each eligible entrant will be sent a link to access the Future Directors Hub for 2 weeks for free. Entrants must claim this link prior to 15 August. Existing members of the Future Directos Hub will not be provided with the access pass or an extension of their current membership. .

Prize Conditions: The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If a winner does not take the Prize at the time set by the promoter, the winner will forfeit that part. The promoter accepts no responsibility for changes in Prize value. If a Prize is

unavailable, the promoter will substitute it for one of equal or greater value.

Notification Method: The winners will be notified by phone number (call) and email using the details provided by participants (details collected in the submission form on the competition page) by no later than Mon 26th. Winner’s names will be published on the same competition page. 

Prize Claim Date & Time Day: Competition Period Prizes must be claimed by 5:30pm 11 August 2023 by accepting their prize via phone call or email. If the Prize is not claimed by this date, the prize will be

awarded to the runner up (second place) who is to be determined in accordance with Entry Details and Judging Criteria and is to be notified within a reasonable time.

Conditions of Entry

1. These Conditions of Entry must be read together with the Schedule. By entering,

entrants accept these conditions.

2. Entry is open to residents of the Applicable locations who comply with the Entry Requirements (if any). Entries submitted by Ineligible Entrants are not accepted. If entry is permitted to persons under 18, those entrants must first obtain consent

of their parent or guardian.

3. The competition will be run during the Competition Period.

4. To enter, entrants must follow the Entry Method, noting any Entry Details, and

submit their entries during the Competition Period.

5. Entrants may only submit up to the Maximum Number of Entries.

6. All valid entries will be entered into the competition. Entries must be received during the Competition Period. The promoter has no control over telecommunications networks and accepts no responsibility for problems associated with them. Entries deemed received at the time of receipt into the promoter’s database, not at the time of transmission. Entries submitted using any form of automated entry device or software are ineligible. Entries not fully complying with these Conditions of Entry will be deemed invalid. The promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, delayed, corrupted, illegible or misdirected entries whether due to error, omission, alteration, deletion, destruction, transmission interruption, tampering, theft, destruction failure or otherwise.

7. The best valid entry as determined by the judges according to the Entry Criteria will win the Prize described in the Schedule. The Total Prize Pool is set out in the Schedule.

8. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining winners. Each valid entry will be individually judged on the basis of the Entry Criteria. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. All entries will become the promoter’s property. Each entry must be entrant’s original work and entrants agree that the promoter may make copies of or publish their entry in any form or media. Entrants warrant that their entry is not, and its use by the promoter will not be, in breach of any person’s intellectual property rights or any other rights.

10. In consideration for awarding a Prize to a winner, winners agree to participate in any promotional activity regarding winning the Prize and consent to their name and image being used in promotional material without payment.

11. Where a Prize consists of travel, travel may be restricted to period other than peak periods and must be booked and completed in accordance with any termsprescribed by the promoter and/or the travel arranger.

12. Winners will be notified by the Notification Method described in the Schedule.

13. The promoter may request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated Prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the promoter.

14. Prizes must be claimed by the Prize Claim Date and Time otherwise that winner will forfeit the Prize and the promoter will distribute the Prize to the next best valid entry that has not already received a Prize. Where a Prize is no longer available, for example, because the date of an event has passed, the new Prize winner will receive a Prize as determined by the promoter of equal or higher value.

15. The promoter does not warrant and makes no representations that any Prize will be fit for any purpose or will be of merchantable quality. If liability under any terms implied at law cannot be excluded, the liability of the promoter and its associated agencies is limited to the re-supply of the Prize or the cost of its re-supply.

16. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion is affected for any reason, the promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, change or suspend the competition. The promoter may disqualify any individual who tampers (or benefits from the tampering) with the entry process or the conduct of the competition or who has, in the promoter’s opinion, engaged in conduct which is fraudulent, misleading or generally damaging to the reputation of the promoter or has breached these Conditions of Entry.

17. The promoter will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, consequential or indirect loss), cost or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (whether or not due to the negligence of any person) in connection with entering the competition or using the Prize, except any liability which cannot be excluded by law (and if so, that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

18. The promoter accepts no responsibility for the tax implications of Prize winnings. Winners should obtain independent tax advice to determine how this may affect their circumstances.

19. The personal information entrants provide will be used by the promoter, and may be disclosed to its agents, solely to conduct the competition and distribute the Prize.
