Global governance advisory and educator Future Directors and board technology company Shaparency have joined forces to redefine the future of board performance.
The merger combines Future Directors' innovative board training and effectiveness products, digital community, and advisory services with Shaparency's cutting-edge board management software, all geared toward increasing the capability of boards to address challenges of the future.

The combined entity will operate under the Future Directors brand with an international footprint across UK, US, Australia and Asia. With an expanded international footprint, the merger will enable Future Directors to offer its solutions on a global scale.

Future Directors will remain Future Directors. Shaparency is becoming Future Directors. However, it will take some time before the board portal software platform has transitioned.
For now customers will be access the portal at www.futuredirectors.com and www.futuredirectors.com/board-portal.

The merger will not immediately have any effect on our board portal software but long term bringing together the expertise and experience of the Future Directors team we will be able to enhance our overall offering into a scalable, flexible and data driven governance platform. Our goal is to provide tools and resources for the ‘modern director and board’ that moves boardrooms towards not only efficiency but also ultimate effectiveness. Tools like, board and director surveys, boardroom education, and practical resources for everyday use.

The merger will not immediately impact current offerings. However, with the additional of an extensive international database our member community and masterclasses will become more diverse and inspiring. In addition, our advisory team will be available as usual to support boards with their specific needs.
